## What this covers

The licence above covers **the bundling** -- this repository's own code, which
is everything outside `modules/`: the loader in `main.lua`, the feature
registry in `features.lua`, the runtime under `runtime/` (the facade, the
option set, the registry, the claim table, the menu), the adapters under
`adapters/`, the tools under `tools/`, and the suites under `tests/`.

It makes no claim over the mods this bundle carries.

## The mods it carries

`modules/<Feature>/` is a copy of another mod, built from the source beside it,
and each one keeps its own licence file where it landed. Read that file for
that feature's terms, not this one. A tracked feature's source is the
repository its submodule under `upstream/` points at. Where a feature carries
third-party work of its own, its notices travel with it -- see
`modules/Gen1BattleUI/THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md`.

One feature is maintained here rather than tracked, and its terms are its
original author's to state rather than mine:

- `modules/WidescreenBattleIntro/` -- from **Widescreen Battle Intro** by
  [ShaneMcGovernIE](https://github.com/ShaneMcGovernIE/gen1recomp-widescreen-battle-intro).

The original states no licence. The fork here is published in the spirit in
which it was shared, with authorship credited in the README and in the file
itself; if the author would like different terms, or would rather this not
carry their work at all, that is their call and I will follow it.

## Not covered by anything here

This mod contains no ROM data and no copyrighted game assets, and requires the
player's own copy of the game. The licence above grants no rights in
ROM-derived material or in Nintendo trademarks, and makes no claim over either.
Pokemon and all related names are trademarks of Nintendo / Creatures Inc. /
GAME FREAK inc. This is a fan-made script mod.
